Round Table is an international association of men under the age of 40 who are dedicated to charity and social projects. It is a service club that was founded in England in 1927 and is now represented worldwide with over 34,000 members in more than 60 countries.

The goal of the Round Table is to promote friendship, develop leadership qualities, and engage in community activities in their own environment. This is done through organizing fundraising activities, carrying out local projects, and supporting international projects.

Members of the Round Table regularly come together to exchange ideas, plan activities, and maintain friendships. The motto of the Round Table is “Adopt. Adapt. Improve.” which means that members adopt ideas and projects from others, adapt them to local circumstances, and improve them to make a positive impact in their community.

How can I join?

Membership of Round Table is for young men aged between 18 and 40 irrespective of their religious beliefs or political opinions. However, Round Table is a closed club. That means that you have to be invited by one of the current members.

Where does the name Round Table come from? Is it related to the famous King Arthur?

Round Table owes nothing to Arthurian Legend, deriving both its title and its maxim from a speech made to the British Industries Fair in 1927 by the then Prince of Wales – ‘The young business and professional men of this country must get together round the table, ADOPT methods that have proved so sound in the past, ADAPT them to the changing needs of the times and wherever possible, IMPROVE them’.
